STOC congratulates Jonathan Gale & James Whitaker for winning the Category 1 Class of HRCR's 2010 Historic Rally Championship over the weekend of 25-26 September. Unett just missed out on the 1966 Autosport Championship prior to Fraser taking the team to Tenerife in 1967. The team Fraser formed in the early '60's with factory backing took on the Mini Cooper with the Rootes Group Hillman Imp with considerable success before in '65 he also began racing the Tiger as a 'privateer' with the consistently excellent Bernard Unett and Ray Calcutt. The man responsible for first putting the Sunbeam Tiger on the UK racing map passed away peacefully aged 80 at his Mountains Sanctury home in Angus, Scotland on 27th October 2010.
